i'm looking for a new motherboard and processor

asus f2a85 v pro, and amd apu 5800k fm2, 8gb corsair vengeance RAM, windows 8.1, and my grapics card is a radeon r7 260x 2gb i want to upgrade my motherboard and processor but i have heard that intel is better then amd so i was wondering is their any way i can switch to intel? if thats possible any mother bored or processor suggestions?

You could buy the i5 4690k and Z97 Asus Maximus VII Hero / Ranger or Asrock Fatal1ty Killer Z97 which is a lot cheaper than 200$
