i have a Samsung M.2 SSD 990 Pro in a 3rd party, ASUS enclosure.
Windows Device Mgr shows the drive ID as an Asus "TUF-ESD-T1A SCSI", not a Samsung 990 Pro
This makes it impossible to use Samsung's Magician & OS Cloning app, their app doesn't see the drive as the Samsung drive inside the external enclosure. It appears that Samsung does not sell an M.2 enclosure.
Is there an enclosure that preserves and passes the drive's true ID info to Windows so that Samsung's Magician recognizes the connection as their 990 Pro ?
