So I already have a few+ based system with a gt 730 from a friend and I'm looking for an upgrade.the first option would be to go for a am4 system with a ryzen 3 1200 with a GTX 1050 ti but if I were to do that I would have to redo the whole build.the second option is to go for a athlon x4 870k or 880k and a GTX 1050 ti which won't need a complete rebuild. What do you think?

Going with a x4 890k for modern AAA games is throwing good money after bad. That CPU is done.

If you cant afford the 2200g, then go for the 1200. They are pretty close to performance. If it were me since you are coming from a gt 730. I would go with the 2200g and hold off on the 1050ti for now. The 2200g is a pretty good APU and it will game just as good or better than your 730.

By not getting the 1050ti will save some money for the platform upgrade. Then later down the road when you have some more money, you can look at GPUs then.
I would not suggest moving into a x4 870k or 880k. That platform is dead. A more modern CPU (even a modern budget CPU) will be light years better. I would also say to look at the 2200g over the 1200. It surpasses the 1200 and it is typically cheaper or the same price. It also has decent integrated graphics if you ever need it.

Yeah I know but If I go for a ryzen system in the end it's going to cost me around 400$ since the mb,CPU,psu,GPU needs to be replaced. While if I go for the non future proof solution it's going to cost me around 200$
