Question I'm looking for best available/necessary upgrades for better gaming experience

I have a pc with the following setting, but seems that they can't support me for well gaming experience on several games. So I want to upgrade my ram to 32gb and CPU and motherboard, I am not sure if my graphic card is good enough for the game I play? but I am afraid that my graphic card is obsolete so it is not compatible with the new motherboard (I set the lowest graphic setting in the games). Could I get some advice on it? Thank you!!!!

Games
Paradox game (which highly rely on single core CPU) --> I have a low gaming speed
Escape from tarkov (FPS game) --> around 30 fps on the gaming
Apex Legends (FPS game) --> around 30 fps on the gaming

PC
CPU: I5-8400
RAM: corsair ddr4 16gb (2x8gb)
GPU: RTX 2060
SSD: M.2 500gb Sandisk Extreme Pro

2060 will still work on newer platforms.

I don't know about those other two games but Apex should be considerably higher than 30fps with that cpu gpu combo. What resolution are you running and are you running any image enhancements settings like dsr?

Run userbench after restarting PC and link here to your results page. Checking for signs of thermal throttling and background usage mainly.

As for overhauling, well anything really is a pretty steep upgrade from both team cpus.
