I think it's time to upgrade from my 10yr old computer... it's running i5 2500k overclocked and gtx 970. I mostly will be Gaming and maybe streaming with the new rig. I have an idea but need some opinions about the build.. Looking to spend about $2000 Canadian before taxes but cheaper is always better. I have all the parts sitting in my "Shopping Cart" on Newegg.ca and it estimates at $1966.94 before taxes and shipping. Want the build to last a long time just like my last one so trying to get newer parts and I heard you can run the cpu with DDR 4 so I thought it could save some money too but opinions on that would be great too.
I do need a option for a case cause I don't think my old one will fit everything. Its a Zalman z11 plus.
