I will use it mostly for after effects, premiere pro, editing purpose and occasional gaming.

Location - India

When I do I intend to buy it ?

ASAP 1 or 2 days.

What do I need in that 1600!
CPU+(fan if needed)
Motherboard
Ram
Power supply
GPU - (optional/ I have GTX 760 2 gb)

What I don't need!
I already have
keyboard,
mouse,
Dell monitor 1080p,
250 GB SanDisk SSD for OS,
1 TB WD purple storage
and windows copy.

Optional!
I have an old GPU Asus GTX 760 OC 2GB

I'd like to use this GPU for now and upgrade later. Again I'm not sure which way should I go, upgrade GPU right now or later(probably after 6 months).
According to you exprerts, If I should upgrade my GPU then I'm looking to extend my total budget to 1800$.

My previous machine was AMD fx 8350. And I don't wanna go AMD this time.
My CPU preference is now Intel 12th or 13th gen. Again which ever gives better result compared to price ratio under my budget.
I've been looking at i5 12600k recently as a decent CPU but not sure if I should go for K version instead of I should aim for i7 or i9.

Leave the flashy LED stuffs to later upgrade.

Overclock!
Not sure if I should be looking to overclock if I'm restricted to 1600-1700$ Max. Would like to hear from you guys whatever suits best.

Motherboard!
I want something that runs my CPU well enough and room a little room for upgradation. I leave it to you guys

Curiosity question!
What is better for editing more ram at DDR4 or newer ram DDR5?
While looking at Cost to performance ratio aspect.

Thank you.

I just now noticed you are located in India.
Sorry I forgot to mention it before, I edited it just now, so is there any changes in build for India?

Also you can leave the storage out of budget.
And is it a good option to consider Z690 or Z790 motherboard on 13700 or 13700k.
Bcoz I want a bit of future proofing, I know it can't be 100% future proof at all. But still.

A B760 board will work fine. Overclocking these Intel 12 / 13 gen cpu's net you little gain.
