Hi, I'm gonna keep this short. I simply want to upgrade my Alienware x51 computer but I'm at a loss as to where to even begin. So we'll start with a few things.
Budget: $400-$600 max. There's a little wiggle room but I want to stay around that price range.
Type: Desktop Computer
System Type: x64
OS: Windows 7
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3330 CPU @ 3.00Ghz (4CPUs).
RAM: 8.00GB
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 640.
SSD/HDD: HDD
Mainly, what I want to know is if I upgrade, let's say my graphics card, do I need to also upgrade my and/or, CPU, RAM, Memory, Power Supply, etc? Also, how could I determine if I would have a compatibility issue before I buy? Just looking for any suggestions, comments, or similar experiences. Any help here would be awesome. Thanks in advance!
