[SOLVED] Im looking to upgrade to an RTX card for Cyberpunk 2077

my current specs cpu intel 7700, 1070ti 8gb card and i play everything at 1440p 60 to 144 hz at top settings. Which RTX card would you recommend w/o having to upgrade the cpu and mobo.

If you want to utilize Ray Tracing then you'll probably want a 2080S or better but considering Ampere should be released before the game you may want to wait.

Yeah, seeing as how Cyberpunk 2077 is not supposed to be released until months after Ampere debuts, it would be kind of a waste to buy an RTX card right now. You'd be playing with last gen hardware the moment the game came out.

most people are buying 2070 or 2070 super , considering their 3rd gen is coming soon

I would wait to see cyberpunk's optimization and i feel like it will have good optimization. Gtx 1070 ti is still capable today. But if you really want ray tracing and you got money, go for the 2070 or 2070 super
