right, first off i would like to say a massive thank you to everyone on the forum, i know it must be hard dealing with people new to PC's etc so everyones advice has been taken on board and is appreciated, i currently have a quote for £730 for the below spec custom build,

1 x Fractal Design Define Mini C Gaming Case - Black
1 x MSI B450M GAMING PLUS AMD Socket AM4 Motherboard
1 x AMD Ryzen 5 2600 3.4GHz Hexa Core (Socket AM4) CPU
1 x Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB (2x 4GB) 2666MHz DDR4
1 x EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 SC 6GB Graphics Card £326.99 ??
1 x Cooler Master MasterWatt Lite 230V 500W 80+ PSU (been told this is not very good)
1 x Crucial MX500 250GB 2.5" SATA III SSD
1 x Western Digital Blue 1TB SATA III 3.5" Hard Drive
1 x 3 Year Collect & Return warranty
1 x Xigmatek CY120 3-Pack 120mm RGB Fans with Controller

but noticed on there site they have the graphics card which looks really over priced ??

would i be looking at

-362.99 removing the EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 SC 6GB Graphics Card
-33.98 removing the Cooler Master MasterWatt Lite 230V 500W 80+ PSU

+54.98 if i swapped them with a Corsair CX550M 550W Modular 80+ Bronze PSU
+£319.99 if i get a Palit GeForce RTX 2060 StormX 6GB Graphics Card (+ battlefield v or anthem)

= £708

or

-362.99 removing the EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 SC 6GB Graphics Card
-33.98 removing the Cooler Master MasterWatt Lite 230V 500W 80+ PSU

+54.98 if i swapped them with a Corsair CX550M 550W Modular 80+ Bronze PSU
+£268.99 if i get a Sapphire Radeon RX 590 NITRO+ 8GB Graphics Card (+ 3 free games)

= £657

surely im best spending the little bit extra and getting the rtx 2060 ?

is everything else in the build decent, im wanting this to last minimum 5 years lets say ? coming from a mac thats lasted 7 + lol (don't slate me <3)

this is a great forum and appreciate everyone who's helped. its a 21st birthday present so been taking my time :)

2600 is ok but i would prefer the 2600x myself.

The RAM is a bit slow, something like 3000mhz would be better.

£326 for an 1060 is mental. They are about £100 cheaper on Scan. (not that exact model but a 1060 6gb)

However having said that the system with the RX590 for £657 seems like a good deal

Team Vulcan T-Force 8GB (2x 4GB) 3000MHz DDR4 RAM so if i swap the ram for this one, which is an identical price, that would be a good setup, doesn't the 2060 blow both the opus out the way and my budget is roughly £700 so ? or im i wrong

the RTX2060 would be significantly better than both those GPUs yes. Get that in there if you can (but you shouldnt pay more than £360 for one, they are £329 direct from nvidia with board partners, the ones not gouging you, at about £329 - £360)

yeh i can get the Palit GeForce RTX 2060 StormX 6GB Graphics Card (+ battlefield v or anthem) for £319.99

get Team Vulcan T-Force 8GB (2x 4GB) 3000MHz DDR4 RAM for the exact same price as 1 x Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB (2x 4GB) 2666MHz DDR4

that would leave me with

1 x Fractal Design Define Mini C Gaming Case - Black
1 x MSI B450M GAMING PLUS AMD Socket AM4 Motherboard
1 x AMD Ryzen 5 2600 3.4GHz Hexa Core (Socket AM4) CPU
1 x Team Vulcan T-Force 8GB (2x 4GB) 3000MHz DDR4 RAM
1 x Palit GeForce RTX 2060 StormX 6GB Graphics Card
1 x Corsair CX550M 550W Modular 80+ Bronze PSU
1 x Crucial MX500 250GB 2.5" SATA III SSD
1 x Western Digital Blue 1TB SATA III 3.5" Hard Drive
1 x 3 Year Collect & Return warranty
1 x Xigmatek CY120 3-Pack 120mm RGB Fans with Controller

for £708.01

is that pretty good value, and quite future proof, i want to be gaming at 1080p 60 - 144fps. maybe upgrade to 1440p later on
