I'm new to building PC's and I need to see if the parts I picked are compatible. I'm also on the lookout for anything I maybe forgot, tips, errors, or anything else. The PC i'm building is for the purpose of gaming. The max amount of money it has to cost is $950.

Everything is fine... But why a vga monitor there are lots of cheap TN gaming monitors out... And also why vga get something that has hdmi at least... Other than that nice build...

what do you mean, "that has hdmi at least" im not going to use it as a TV, just for gaming. what do you mean by hdmi?

There is much better quality in hdmi... Vga is legacy and not very pleasing... Most monitors now have hdmi... And you can see the difference in quality between the two...

Thats really unbalanced PC, you dont really need that CPU if your using a discrete VGA, also you dont need such high end motherboard for that motherboard.
Why not something like this, high end r7 AMD 8 core CPU and a very decent 570 VGA.
