Hey, i just builded pc with parts and ordered it, and im not sure if its enough for gaming... I will be playing on 1366x768 Monitor. I looked for some tests and i think this pc can run games at good settings, maybe i'm wrong.. So im asking you for help.

Here are the specs:

Motherboard: Asrock h97 pro 4
Proccessor: Intel i5-4690 3,5ghz
Video Card: Asus Radeon r9 280
Power supply: Seasonic M12II - 620w
Case: Carbide series spec-01
Memory: Crucial ballistix 2x4gb, cl9, 1600Mhz
HDD : WD Blue 1TB 64mb

What do you guys think? its enough?

Hey, actually I think it was a good buy.
A strong graphics card means that you can use more eye candy and other details.
It means that your card will not need to work so hard and get hot and noisy.

My rule of thumb for a balanced gamer is to budget 2x the cpu cost for your graphics card.
Yes, your resolution is less than most... for now.
I think your build is entirely appropriate.

One comment... ask for opinions BEFORE you buy.

Looks fine but then again you didn't say what kind of games you're talking about. However with a monitor with only a 1366x768 I think your system won't be pushing very much with such a low rez. Heck, you could even cut down on the video card and still get good fps and looks with that low rez. You really should get a new monitor.

I want to play league of legends at highest settings, world of warcraft ultra, maybe try new games on good settings.. I'm scared.. I just baught that parts and im getting something bad? I just baught these parts for my all money.. I can't get new monitor now, maybe next year only.. ;(

What he says is that the 280 is a overkill for your resolution you can probably buy a 265 or 270 and get playable fps on high/ultra

No your fps will be fine but to a point the GPU is being wasted on such a low rez. Well if you're going to get a new monitor soon then ok but if the monitor you're using now is it then you I think the video card is kinda being wasted to some degree. I would have shopped around and maybe made some changes on some parts so you could get a better monitor. Also it's pointless to ask if a build is any good if you've already bought the parts unless you could cancel the order right then.

you could drop the cpu down to an i5 4440 and hopefully you will have enough to get a cheap r9 280x which is the better option for a purely gaming standpoint.
you can pick up a perfectly decent for gaming 1080p tn panel for under 100 so no need to scrimp on the screensize as you can upgrade that reasonably quickly if you have to..
yes you can run a cheaper gpu on your current screen, but the stronger gpu will give more fps on the more demanding titles for longer.

As I said and a few others I would have changed some of your brands to save some money to get yourself a better monitor to take better advantage of your hardware.

I think we all said that the build is fine. However he could have made a few changes to save a little money and buy a better monitor to get a better experience.
