I'm not sure if a EVGA GTX780 will fit my motherboard?

I am new to asking questions on this site. I have been A+ certified since I was 14 and have built many computers during my highschool days. Those times are well in my past and have lost touch with my tech savy skills, aside from how to put something together.

Here is a link to some pictures of my PC, most importantly there is a picture of my Motherboard which is what is in question at the moment.
Ebay motherboard and current case picture
If you look closely at the picture showing the motherboard in its case, you can see the a black cable plugged in close by the PCIe, along with some red and yellow cords. My concern is they will interfere with a EVGA GTX 780 (or even a GTX680 for that matter) and render that graphics card obsolete till my August motherboard upgrade.
I plan to upgrade the Motherboard come August (however i am at a loss as to which one), along side the ram and a bigger SATA HDD.
I also understand I may need a new case, which will be bought with the graphics card if need be.

The following link is a chart of my PCs specs:
PC specs chart

My current PSU is horrible and I will be getting a 600W corsair alongside any graphics card I purchase.

Right now I want to get a graphics card upgrade to start playing games like BF4, Arma 3, and any up and coming games at max settings. Keep in mind this purchase is not only for the instant gratification, but also for my motherboard in the following month.

I have a budget of 700$.

If this motherboard cannot support the size of the GTX 780, which motherboard should I get? After the purchase of the EVGA GTX 780 and Corsair 600W I will be down to roughly 100$. I am totally fine with buying a month long temporary mobo if need be to support this motherboard.

Thank you for your time. I do hope I posted in the right section as this is a Graphics card/motherboard/mobo spacing question.

Solution
Due to the connectors being placed close to the PCI-Express slot, I do believe it will be problematic. The pictures on eBay are quite small to determine from detail, however I have concluded that the GTX 780 will NOT fit. In addition if you do purchase a new motherboard, you may just about be able to get the EVGA GTX 780 into the case; however it may not fit in your case either, due to the hard drive bay and in general for being a small case.

Personally I would look at both a new case and motherboard. I'd go with this:

Motherboard: ASRock H97M PRO4 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($84.98 @ Newegg)
Case: Corsair SPEC-01 RED ATX Mid Tower Case...

I'd say drop down to a GTX770 or an R9-290 and rebuild appropriately.

R9-290 = $400
GTX780 = $500
GTX770 = $330

Then you can upgrade your motherboard, case, and powersupply all at the same time. If you need more graphics power then that, you can always buy a powersupply, case, and motherboard big enough to run a pair of cards.

Just a rough option:

Motherboard: ASRock H97M PRO4 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($84.98 @ Newegg)
Case: Corsair SPEC-01 RED ATX Mid Tower Case ($44.99 @ Amazon)
Case Fan: Cooler Master SickleFlow 69.7 CFM 120mm Fan ($7.98 @ OutletPC)
Total: $137.95
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

I have included a new microATX motherboard, Corsair Spec-01 case and an additional 120mm case fan (as the case only comes supplied with one, the additional should be used as an exhaust). The motherboard supports SLI/CrossFire and will also support Devil's Canyon and the upcoming Broadwell generation of Intel CPUs. So I would keep this motherboard; it is not temporary.

For the entire upgrade: a motherboard, case, case fan, CPU, GPU and PSU:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

Motherboard: ASRock H97M PRO4 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($84.98 @ Newegg)
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 780 3GB Video Card ($505.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Case: Corsair SPEC-01 RED ATX Mid Tower Case ($44.99 @ Amazon)
Power Supply: Corsair CX 600W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply ($69.99 @ Newegg)
Case Fan: Cooler Master SickleFlow 69.7 CFM 120mm Fan ($7.98 @ OutletPC)
Total: $713.93
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

Instead of a GTX 780 however, you could purchase an AMD R9 290; which provides similar performance to the GTX 780 whilst also being more affordable.

All the best. :)

I think I will do your motherboard and case/fan pick as well as a GTX780, which comes to be 717$ which is fine. It seems as though this motherboard is compatible with my current i5 4440 cpu, which is nice as I wont be able to upgrade that till a later date. I'd go the cheaper route with the graphics card but I'm pretty hell bent on getting the 780.

Thank you (and everyone else) for your suggestions!
