Here is what my computer is doing that I think isnt normal
Google Chrome is main browser. I have about 5-6 different Profiles on there. All profiles have extensions, but not all are sharing the same extensions. Some profiles having a considerable amount more than others. Some websites, I cant check out when trying to buy something. Everything works until I get to final "Place Order" screen and either the button isnt clickable or the brief loading screen between placing order and getting either a success or failure screen, my screen will just stay in that loading screen and not advance. On Eastbay, I get a error popup and returning to the home screen is the only button to click. Impossible to shop as this pops up literally every 7 seconds. I just attributed both instances to the fact I have so many extensions. Same with Firefox, but not as many add-ons/extensions as Chrome.

I tried to use Internet Explorer and Edge on Eastbay and still go the same error popup. I never use either of these browsers. I even factory reset and updated Edge, still no luck. Not sure if its related, but its worth mentioning, at Shoe Carnival I cant get my orders processed. Ive tried with multiple checkout payment methods. The last 2 times, using my bank issued cards (Both business and personal checking cards) my payments were declined by Forter. Apparently Forter is a Fraud Detection Software.

Before getting that error for the first time I was getting a generic "We are not able to process your order at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience". I have successfully placed orders at other sites since these issues have been going on, but Im not sure what do make of the issues I am having. I have NORDVPN and use it occasionally. I have a Restoro subscription and use it monthly. I have a Kaspersky Account, but deleted it off my computer due to it being a Russian based company and the situation going on in Ukraine. Windows Defender has always been on. I scan my computer more than I realistically need to, but something definitely seems wrong. Also deleted CCleaner after reading about an incident of their stuff being compromised.

This:

Have you contacted your bank to report the problems and check on your accounts & recent activities?

What about any other accounts or credit cards?

I have not contacted my bank. I talked to the websites corporate office today and basically the reason it was being declined was because the shipping address, billing address, bank issuing card location, and IP address of the computer on their site were all different. I was on NORDVPN - Buying a gift. So, yes that was the explanation for that, but as I explained to her I didn't try to the VPN until after I was already being denied service. I was basically trying to circumvent what I perceived to be the problem myself because CSR's on any site are completely worthless unless you need password reset help or something elementary. I monitor my bank app regularly and cards work everywhere every time except for the recent instances on their website.

I cross-posted this to Microsoft Community to get help as well this is what the dude said

Hi, I'm Greg, 10 years awarded Windows MVP, here to help you.

Restoro is not recommended except to uninstall. It's a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Software), so I would uninstall it, then I'll help you disinfect if necessary and repair any broken system files.

Your first screenshot shows that your account has corrupted many times. Do you recall it starting into a Temporary Account because your account couldn't start? If you are still having problems with the account I can help you create a new one to test to see if it fixes the problems, then you can move into it, set it up and when ready delete the old account and move the MS Account over to it.

I'm glad you uninstalled Kaspersky, run it's uninstaller tool to make sure you got all of it out since the government has declared them a threat:
https://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/kasper...

Then type Security in Search, open to make sure Defender is turned on.

1) To check most thoroughly for infection and any resulting System damage, Download, install and run a full scan with the most powerful on-demand free scanner Malwarebytes:
https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/ Make sure to only choose the Free version.

In the Malwarebytes Settings (gear icon) > Security tab set it to include scanning for Rootkits.

If necessary run it in Safe Mode with Networking (to have internet), or Safe Mode accessed by one of these methods: https://www.digitalcitizen.life/4-ways-boot-saf.... These require a password and not PIN to access.

Clean up anything found, restart PC and then run again until it comes up clean.

Then download, install and run a full scan with AdwCleaner:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcle...
Remove whatever it finds.

Check for anything found but is still left over in Settings > Apps > Apps & Features, and C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files(86) to uninstall or delete them. I can guide you how to do this if there are problems.

Also in each of your browser's Extensions, Home Page settings, Search service or Add-On's as shown here: https://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch001411.htm
to disable anything you didn't add yourself and are sure you need. Ask back if in doubt.

Then check for damaged System files by running System File Checker and DISM from Step 10 in this checklist:
https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/for...

If completing all of Step 10 in above Checklist doesn't fix it then run a Repair Install which reinstalls WIndows while keeping your files, programs and most settings in place, by installing the Media Creation Tool from this link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/software-downlo..., open the tool and choose Upgrade This PC Now. This will solve most problems and also bring it up to the latest version which you need anyway and by the most stable method.

If you want to keep Malwarebytes as an on-demand scanner then you can turn off its Real Time trial version using the slider buttons on it's front panel. I recommend it as the #1 tool for your toolbox. For best WIndows performance, use built-in Defender which gives adequate real-time protection.

2) Test for account corruption by creating a new Local Admin account to see if the problem goes away. Step-by-step instructions here:
https://www.isumsoft.com/windows-10/3-ways-to-c...

Sign into the new account, test it works correctly, if so move files over, test all apps work or reinstall any that don't. Then when ready delete the old account in Settings > Accounts > Family & Other Users.

You can also try to Repair the old account by running a Repair Install from the new account, steps here: https://www.tomshardware.com/how-to/fix-windows...

You can change it to your Microsoft account if desired:
https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/5375-switch...

3) RESET BROWSER:

1) Clear the browser cache and cookies:

https://www.online-tech-tips.com/computer-tips/...

https://www.lifewire.com/how-to-delete-cookies-...

2) Try disabling all extensions to see if this helps:

https://community.box.com/t5/How-to-Guides-for-...

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-e...

3) For Edge, repair it in Settings > Apps > Apps & Features > Microsoft Edge > Manage > Repair, also reset in Edge Settings > Reset Settings.

For Firefox refresh it in it's Settings as shown here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/refresh-fi...

Reset Chrome here:
https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/329621...
https://www.lifewire.com/how-to-reset-google-ch...

4) If that fails uninstall the browser (except Edge) in Settings > Apps > Apps & Features, restart PC then reinstall browser from fresh download:

Firefox download: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/

Chrome download: https://www.google.com/chrome/

Edge download (to reinstall over itself):
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge

Feel free to ask any questions. Based on the results you post back I may have other suggestions if necessary"
____

Ive done about half the things he suggested. Most of the problems still persist as far not being apply to submit a reply on some forum types (Microsoft. A new Chrome profile with no extensions worked). Eastbay still pops up as an error. Everyone swears by Restoro. Crazy how depending on where you ask for help, the help offered can completely contradict itself.

Cannot speak to Microsoft's response other than to observe that the response appears to be mostly just standardized cut & paste.

= = = =

As for the websites/ CSRs - working through whatever is happening there will be difficult. Especially that, under the circumstances, it appears you may have been flagged in some manner as a potentially fraudulent buyer. Buying from one location, paying from a second location, and shipping to a third location very likely raises any number of flags. And more scrutiny of the transactions involved.

The attempt at VPN may have made things worse.

All that can be done is that you must continue to work with the websites in question.

There are no workarounds or solutions to be offered here.

Yea, it more or less was the problem.

As for the the workarounds, I already know my mistake. Either have to get Multilogin software or Firefox Containers with each profile having its own RESI Proxy and then making all purchases via Gift Cards.
