Im not sure what to upgrade to

My pcs specs right now are an athlon x4 860k, 8dgb ddr3 at 1600mhz, zotac 1050ti oc 500w psu, a igabyte fm2+ motherboard the rest is pretty standard
but im not sure what to upgrade im defenitly upgrading the case the a nzxt case but for cpu i think i will go ryzen 5 2600 and motherboard Asus ROG STRIX B350-F also 16gb corsair vengeance 3000 mhz ram i dont think i will upgrade gpu as i have barely any money but what do you think of this choice of upgrade or should i pick something else?

Yeah thats a pretty good selection of parts youve put together, you can also look at the MSI B450 Tomahawk as an alternative to the Asus board. The MSI is highly regarded, costs the same as that Asus & the MSI will handle overclocking slightly better. Regardless, both boards are good.

You could pick up an RX 570 at a later stage, they are very cheap & will offer a significant performance increase over the 1050Ti. I saw the Asrock 570 on special for $130 on Newegg I think. Its pretty crazy how much cheaper it is than a 1050Ti considering its about 40% more performance.

The other reason to opt for the suggested MSIB450 board is the B350 might need a BIOS update to support a 2600, you'd hope they had all been updated at this point but there are still some older BIOS versions around.

Yes your MB/CPU/RAM is the place to start, you are almost certainly CPU limited in modern games with your current machine and a 1050ti games remarkably well as long as you don't get carried away with graphics settings. Those are solid choices.

Only one suggestion instead of getting B350 chipset get B450

Thanks for the recommendations i will sure check it out but instead of the 570 i will probably get the 580 as i dont mind spending a bit more, anyways thanks for the help :)
