Hello! I noticed that the 'Enhancement' tab was missing in Sound Settings, so I went to Device Manager and discovered that my Realtek drivers are from 2020 (version 6.0.8971). However, when I clicked on 'Update Drivers' and installed 'High Definition Audio Device,' it installed new drivers from 2023, which also enabled the Enhancement tab. I'm just not sure which drivers are actually correct to use.

The drivers you had were windows 10 drivers - https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=6.0.8971.1
I don't know which ones you have now without knowing driver number. Windows 11 likely grabbed the latest ones that match the hardware ID

I don't mess with audio drivers unless I have to. Audio too hard to get right.

where are you looking to see this enhancement tab? I don't see it myself, but then my drivers are from 2021

The enhancement tab is normally found under your headset (in Audio) when you select properties. However, I think I've solved it. I kept the Realtek driver, which comes with its own Asus Audio control + DTS, and it sounds better. I was just a bit confused about why the driver is so old compared to the one for Windows 11.

I see it now, once I attach my headset. Nothing in the menu though... probably need new drivers to get more features. My sound works, thats good enough for me.

MY AMD High Def drivers are from 2023
MY Bathys drivers are from 2022
Realtek 2021

many different drivers for different outputs.
AMD High Def is for HDMI/Display Port outputs on the motherboard
Realtek is for the speaker/wired headphones connections on motherboard
Bathys is for my wireless headset.

drivers don't get updated unless you run a program that does it (like AMD chipset driver package) or if its given to Microsoft and sent out in an Update. Otherwise they just stay old.
