Question I'm planning to upgrade my laptop's hard drive from hdd to sshd (Seagate Firecuda) can I clone my hdd's os/files to the sshd?

Is it okay if I just clone my hdd's system to sshd instead of performing a clean os installation to the new drive?

Yes. As you know, SSHD is a traditional spinning hard disk with a small amount of fast solid-state storage built in. It operates without any change to normal operations for a HDD. Reliable cloning apps deal with it normally as well, Just advise us if you intend to use a samsung cloner, as a limitation applies. Otherwise clone away.
