SO I am 15 and built my first PC a little over a year ago. I did decently and took a couple of hours but I ran into about 10 problems and fixed them all within about 2 weeks. This was a 500 pound PC and now im upgrading to a 1,500 pound PC.

I am scared of making a mistake and wasting all this money (which is a * for me)

Any help?

Well it gets easier each time you build a PC. We here on tomshardware forums can help you pick parts for your new PC. You can find PC Build guides in both text via a google search and by video on youtube. The hardest part for me is connecting the small 2 and 3 wire control cables like PWR_ON, RESET, HDD, etc. But thats where a Motherboard manual is essential - I recommend downloading an electronic copy and using it as a reference vs. using the small book you get in print from the motherboard provider.
