well, for those that care, going from a P4, 2ghz 512m ram, 128 ati radeon to
a P4 3.8ghz, 1gig ram, 256 ati radeon X850 makes such a difference to my flt
simming, I just can't begin to explain.

So, when in doubt, plunge deeper in debt and upgrade !!

Honestly, what a difference!

Arthur, you're a funny chap. No really, I'm laughing.

But seriously, I could never afford the rig I've got if I sold myself for
it. I'd still end up owing myself money.

Suffice to say, me and DELL came up with a nice wee plan enabling me to
upgrade. Next thing is a larger monitor.

But to get back to the original point, oh my god what a difference.!!!!

Al.. what are the mainboard front-side speeds of the new vs old
for comparison? Also you will really like a 21" monitor for Sim in
1280x1024 resolution. Dell had a 21" model some 5 years ago
designated as P990 Trinitron and it's wonderful..!!
