I'm stuck on deciding for a new monitor

I can't really decide on a monitor I already have an LG UJ6300 55" 4k hdr TV I mostly game on but need a monitor for a few mouse only games and to use as a second monitor for my laptop sometimes but I'm stuck between the LG 27UK650-W at $550 and LG 27UD68-P for $400 I'm just uncertain if hdr is really that important for a monitor if I already have an hdr TV for most games and would probably never watch my movies on the monitor.

As much as I'd like to make my next PC monitor an HDR one, HDR on PCs is still pretty new and many people are running into issues with some games and software getting confused. That makes it not-so-valuable, maybe even a potential liability for everyday stuff if you don't have the patience to deal with the occasional weirdness.

(Actually, PCs had 30bits color back in the late days of VGA and lost it when LCDs caught on since DVI, HDMI and the LCDs themselves only supported 8bits back then.)
