If I install windows 95 onto this computer will it work?

Assuming you install a recent OS..Linux or Win 10 as the host, then you can install Win95 in a VM.

If you're thinking of installing Win95 by itself...no.

It simply won't install.
That OS will not recognize that hardware.

Matter of a fact, no it wouldn't run. Even it needs some tweaks to run Windows 7.

Ok but why wouldn't it recognize it. I mean there's plenty of hardware that could take windows 95 that came out long after windows 95. So why wouldn't windows 95 take my specs?

Microsoft stated back in 2016 that Intel platforms starting from Skylake will not support Windows Vista or Windows 7. Now put it this way, if 6th gen skylake refuses to run on Vista, will it run on XP, 98 or even 95?
