I'm about to upgrade my processor from a AMD FX 4130 QUAD-CORE 3.80 GHz to an AMD FD8320FRHKBOX FX-8320 FX-Series 8-Core Black Edition.
My motherboard is an GA-78LMT-USB3.

I dont know my current bios version. So can yall tell me?

Should I update my bios before installing the new cpu or will it work without the bios update?

The motherboard supports the processor alright but i don't know whether it needs the latest bios version or not.

Updating to your latest motherboard bios is usually your best bet. No reason not to but it should run fine if you don't
