Hi guys!

I have a set of computers with main H85M, 4 cores 4 threads xeon cpu, 8gb ram, 350-400w psu. The screen used is LG W1943SE using vga port.

I'm thinking of buying a GTX 1050 2GB, but I don't know if I can plug it in when I buy it? Is it ok to use DVI-D to VGA converter? And the source is not more than 400w, can it pull this GTX 1050 2GB?

Thanks for your support

Solution
You need to make sure you get an Active DVI to VGA converter as opposed to one of those cheap apadters.
DVI has an analogue spec, called DVI-a, where those $5 type adapters work but this is no longer supported on Nvidia's 1000 series and up.
