Hi guys its me again

Im kind of confused with choosing my mobo

The system im going to buy is:
I5 4690k
Asus phoenix gtx 1050ti
8GBs ddr3 1600mhz

But about the mobo i dont know which to buy:
Asus h81 plus

Or

Asus z97 pro gamer

And you know the h81 plus is a little cheaper and im on a budget.

Do I lose performence with h81 plus?

And another thing:
How much performence will i lose by putting a gtx 1050ti in a pcie 2.0?
Cause it needs pcie 3.0

You do not lose performance, so to say, but you may loose the capability of overclocking. I would take the z97 chipset!

Are you buying all this equipment used? Is it a great price? I ask because everything but the GPU is old. There are better options now which usually cost the same or less. If we are talking about all new equipment.

As for your motherboard question.
- Z97 will allow overclocking, H81 will not. So, you can potentially achieve higher speeds with the Z97.
- The Z97 will be a much higher quality motherboard overrall.
- H81 chipsets may need a BIOS update to use the 4690K. If it isn't updated you'll need a CPU compatible with the BIOS to perform the update. Whether or not it is needed depends on if the motherboard was manufactured after the 4690K was released. If used, the previous owner may have performed the update if it was needed.

Z97 motherboards should be PCIe 3.0. Intel introduced compatibility with Ivy Bridge in desktop chipsets. At any rate. A GTX 1050 Ti won't saturate the PCIe 2.0 BUS.

I cant even add 1Ghz to cpu with h81 plus?

You CAN overclock your GPU.
Not your CPU on that chipset.

Yes you can overclock your GPU using MSI's Afterburner (or EVGA's Precision X as an alternative, but I prefer AB and I own EVGA cards). There are plenty of tutorials out there. Regarding PCIe 2.0 vs. 3.0 in performance, there is hardly any when it comes to gaming.

As far as performance no there will be no noticeable performance difference between the H an Z series stock for stock. Any performance improvement of the Z-series would need professional benchmarking to see, and it would be relatively microscopic.
