I'm unable to find out if my laptop is using UEFI or BIOS

hello everyone, now i searched on internet about how to find out if my system is uefi or bios, i found 2 ways: 1-going to C:\Windows\Panther and opening "setupact.txt" but im was unable to find it, the second way: opening system information and see "BIOS mode", but im was unable to find that too, so yeah im was out of clue.. any other possible ways? also note that im using a LAPTOP, not a normal desktop. some info:
Laptop Model: HP G62-B50SJ (year 2010)
OS: Win7 Home Premium x86
CPU: i3 M 370 4 cores
RAM: 3GB

According to the laptops product page it's UEFI. You should be able to tell by going into the BIOS, if you can use your mouse to navigate, it is UEFI.

If your BIOS has a very simple, old fashioned look, it's not UEFI.
