[SOLVED] I'm upgrading my motherboard to a different socket brand. Anything I should know?

To be more specific, is there anything software-side I should be aware of? I'm upgrading from an 1151 socket to an AM4 socket. I'm worried about instability on my Windows installation and data integrity, more than anything. I've backed up everything on an external hard drive already.

You will have to reinstall windows, along with your drivers and programs.
Backup your data however you see fit.
