Question I'm using 2 graphics controllers but should I be?

My gpu is an r9 fury, my mobo is an Msi meg x570 unify. This is my first system with capabilities beyond legacy bios. I downloaded basically "everything" MSI related and AMD related and kinda just let them do their thing. The biggest issues i seem to be having are scaling to fullscreen with games, and perhaps expectations were higher, but my real time perspective is it's just a little faster than my old system.
While I'm not a complete moron, I'm lacking some pretty big gaps. Is there a way to make the different apps play nice with each other? which one would override which for things like my display resolution for a certian app? Which one should I remove?
The 2 in question are MSI Center (+) and AMD Radeon Software.

Could you please list your full system's specs for your build? As for MSI's center, could you pass on an image of the add-ons you have for said app? No, I wouldn't get rid of AMD's Radeon Software, that would be essential to your GPU and how you manage it.

There was a time when two graphics clock controllers (afterburner + radeon) had issues but I'm not sure its solved for good now.

I would keep the official one that is AMD.
