I'm using samsung laptop. I installed the ubuntu 13.10 by extract it to the winrar and the disc becoming a ubuntu folder. when I want to restart, it suddenly left me with the blink cursor and black screen. What am I supposed to do?

It needs the bootloader, not just the files.
