i'm wanting to upgrade to a better gpu (im a novice)

i have an amd radeon 7770 series and its starting to struggle i was think about upgrading to a gtx 970 but i am unsure on if everything would work
mother board😛8B75-M LX (LGA1155)
slot type: PCI-E
and an i5 processor
i would really appreciate the advice as i have very little experience in computers especially upgrading them

the make is xigmatek i couldn't see a model however i know its 230 voltz

Sorry you need to get an actual proper 500w first before you can upgrade your video card.
