Hi, im building a pc and I just bought my gpu, I dont have all the parts so I cant test it through an actually pc yet. I'm worried that it might be fake because of the box it came in, It seems legit but on the box it says "ready to OC 88MHz+, but when I look online at other peoples boxes for the Gigabyte Aorus Geforce GTX 1070 ti all the other boxes just say "ready to OC".
Is there a way to check if my GPU is real or not, There is a sticker with the model number on it but couldn't someone just make a fake sticker? i'm not sure, looking for help to figure this out

Where did you buy it from? How much did you pay? If you bought it from some guy on the street corner for 50% off MSRP then yeah it might be a fake.

Also when I got my Gigabyte 2080 I registered it on the Aorus website, which extends the warranty. I'm not sure they do it for 1070 TIs (although I don't see a reason why they wouldn't) but you can try it. If it does work you can be 100% sure it's legit.
