I am turning an old iMac g3 into a ROG gaming machine. My problem is not in finding parts that will fit inside the old G3 it's the original inner bezel. The plastic has degraded and breaks at the slightest touch. any suggestions on how to fabricate a new inner bezel out of aluminum sheet and Modder mesh?

Yes, I am replacing the CRT with a LCD. A new 15" Gateway FPD1565 DVI LCD Monitor just arrived today. It has a 1280 x 768 native resolution.

The inner bezel is the broken plastic part that hold the monitor, and motherboard plate together, or the inner computer, while the outer shell being the bottom top and front of the case, clips together and the front bezel screws in the front of the inner bezel and the top (blue) shell screws into the inner bezel at the top. The condition of this part is like a piece of plastic pipe that has rotted in the sun. flaky, and brittle. most of the screw holes are broken so I currently can't put this machine together anyway. With the new LCD I would need to made new mounting points anyway, which helps... but I still need to make an inner bezel out of something, and for strength, i would like to use aluminum.
