[SOLVED] iMac G5 OS and gaming compatibility?

Hello,

I'm here to ask can i boot Linux on iMac G5 20"inch.
It got 2gb RAM and 160GB HDD it's 1.8GHz PPC.
Is there any true Linux? Or could i get OS X 1.5.8?
I wanted to play Counter Strike 1.6.
Any help from u guys?

There are plenty of Linux builds that will run on a G5 (Mint would be a good start), but to the best of my knowledge (my knowledge of games is somewhat limited) Counter Strike will only run on an X86 (AMD/Intel) architecture not PPC.

There are no ports of Steam games for a PPC version of Linux.
