Every night, my system logs out and I have to press the power button to start it up. I don't want this behavior. I'd like to just click the mouse or keyboard and BAM it's on and working.
I have El Capitan 10.11.6.
This is a multi-user work computer. While I am the only user on the system, I do not have Admin access. (However, the IT guy is very cool and willing to offer Admin access if I ask.)
What I have tried to resolve this:
* Made sure Sys Prefs > Security&Privacy > Advanced > Log Out after X mins is UNCHECKED
* Made sure Prefs > Energy Saver > Schedule has no Sleep time set
* Set Energy Saver > "Prevent computer from sleeping automatically ..." to checked ON
* Set Energy Saver > "Enable Power Nap" to checked OFF
* I've tried "Turn display off after X to "never". It is currently set to 30 mins
* I've tried screensaver on and disabled
What am I missing?
The only thing I can think of is there is a setting for the Admin account that is overriding my account settings?
Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks!
