Hey guys, so I really need to get a new computer and i'm not professional. I would like to know which of these I should get iMac, Macbook or PC?
I will use it for making videos, gaming, watching videos, maybe making music and social media.
So just in usage for general things.
I would like to give like €1500 max. (Monitor, mouse, pc, keyboard etc needed)
Is it enough?

For videos you'd need an i7. 16gb fast ram and a good gpu and plenty of storage. You'd need more than 1500E to get that from Apple.

Try -

CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor (€362.74 @ Amazon Deutschland)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler (€33.50 @ Amazon Deutschland)
Motherboard: ASRock Z97 EXTREME4 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard (€142.98 @ Home of Hardware DE)
Memory: Mushkin Redline 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-2133 Memory (€167.50 @ Amazon Deutschland)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (€197.28 @ Amazon Deutschland)
Video Card: Zotac GeForce GTX 970 4GB Video Card (€365.00 @ Amazon Deutschland)
Case: Corsair 200R ATX Mid Tower Case (€67.89 @ Home of Hardware DE)
Power Supply: XFX TS 650W 80+ Gold Certified ATX Power Supply (€57.96 @ Amazon Deutschland)
Optical Drive: LG BH16NS40 Blu-Ray/DVD/CD Writer (€72.70 @ Amazon Deutschland)
Total: €1467.55
plus OS

I would get the PC if you want more power for your money but I would get the Imac if your a heavy video editor or photoshopper.

DEFINETLY a PC. Macs are high quality but very overpriced, a PC would get you much more. And that's WAY more than enough for a PC, that's enough cash to get a full on machine for heavy gaming, and a gaming screen, mouse, and keyboard.
So definitely get a PC. 1500 for a Mac won't get you far, but for a PC you can have nearly the best.
And personally, I don't like Apple, they have a lot of scams............

If you're playing games you want a PC. If you're editing audio and video you want a Mac. You can play games on a Mac but the laptop hardware that's in the iMac won't give you nearly a fifth the performance of a high end i7-5820K desktop. PC is also good for audio and video production.

Video editing doesn't need a Mac.........
That doesn't even affect it......

A Mac and PC are both computers, the only differences are the OS (operating system), and the fact that Macs are extremely overpriced for their internals.......

I have a macbook and they are nice but not very powerful for what you pay for also you can't upgrade anything in the laptop, i'm not sure about the Imac though.

You can't upgrade the iMac because it's an all-in-one. :/

you can if you use power tools 😉 http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/faq/id-2156331/desktop-mac.html

xD, just get a PC 😛

I had (and still have) an old Power PC based Macbook. I haven't owned any of the Intel Macs but my experience with them was pretty decent but I personally far prefer Windows 8 to Mac OS X. The new Macbooks are pretty sweet but for the price I'd far prefer to get a MSI GS60 or an Asus ROG than that.

Not to mention Windows 8 is the fastest and easiest to use OS ever.
My PC is no gaming monster, yet it starts up and gets me on my desktop in around 7 seconds, compared to my old one with Windows 7, which took 5 min to get to the desktop.
