Is the iMac a good computer to use for CAD? Is it worth all that money? $1,700

Imacs are good if you are looking for an easy solution to your Cad needs.However,having a computer built/building a computer yourself would be much more cost effective and would be able to be up to date in the long run. In addition to this you can always upgrade the GPU and CPU in a custom built computer in the future; it's much more difficult/expensive to upgrade an Imac.

Well i'm kinda actually really interested in getting one. I would be using for lots of media stuff not gaming.
