I'm running Windows 7 64bit Professional with the following drives:
C:/ - OS drive - 500 GB SSD
D:/ - data drive A - 1 TB HDD
M:/ - data drive B & Windows Backup location - 8 TB HDD

I wanted only the OS drive/ C: to be backed up to the M:, but I just discovered that Windows Backup is backing up the full 1 TB data D: onto the M: as well and I have run out of space. I cannot find any setting that will let me choose to back up only the C:, so if anyone knows how, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!

Are you using "Backup and Restore " built-in utility? Reconfigure it to only include C: drive.

Better yet, use third-party tools, which give more options and control. Like EaseUS® Todo Backup

Traditore,

Yes, I did choose Backup And Restore. I'll redo the backup options and that should fix it--but that leaves me with one question: can I simply delete the current folder called WindowsImageBackup via explorer or is there a different way it must be done? Thanks!
