image c00 file

[Petromax]

Just discovered 3 files in my documents folder, named "Image.C00", "Image C01" and "Image.c02". Two of these are taking up 1GB disc-space each. The last one is taking up approx 350 MB. I have no idea what this is. I've tried to find out, but no Luck. I don't know where they come from. It says "crated: 18. ?april ?2015". Any ideas? Is it safe to delete these files? I've already deleted the smallest one of these, and I've encounered no problems so far.

well it could be anything delete them and leave them in recycle bin for a week or so to check that everything is ok, then delete from recycle.
