Image limits?

Along the lines of the sig discussion, I've noticed that threads with multiple images per post (ex, pickxx and Adriana Lima pic's) load very slow ... and I have a fast cable. Don't get me wrong, I think Adriana Lima is gorgeous, but if we are gonna set "rules" limiting graphics, perhaps we could limit the number of images per post somehow. A thread with many photo's loads so slow that it seems that windows has frozen.

I don't have a suggestion as to an acceptable limit, or if it's a per posts or per threads thing, just that several threads with those multiple photo's took me over 45 seconds to load a page, and if I was on dial-up, well ... 8O

I've noticed the same thing myself.... I've got high speed also.... 45 to 60 seconds on some posts, no doubt....

I will change things one of these days so that the images load in the background, i.e. you can view the pages, and images slowly paint.
