Hello,

I am trying to build a PC to perform image processing tasks. But I am not sure if it is worth to spend more money in the CPU or in the GPU. Budget is about $2000 max.

Any suggestions?

For image processing it's better to have a good CPU. This is where something like the six-core 3930K comes in. Having a good GPU definitely helps as well.
