Hi all,
I have been trying to figure out what details I need to focus on for building a system specifically designed for working with some of the new image processing software coming out for mapping. Many of them are specialized for 3d modeling using SFM and others are more standard photogrammetry. The one thing that seems consistent is that they all tend to be processor heavy, Ram thirsty, and many can make use of cuda processing. Im hoping that someone here has experience with them (example, Pix4D or Agisoft). I need some ideas on builds that I can keep below $4000 that will crank this stuff out. Any thoughts?? I tend to collect and process out projects covering thousands of acres and include 2000 images or more from cameras shooting 180mb images. Thoughts??
