Images and text appear pixelated and unclear

Hi, recently I am facing a problem. Everything on my monitor appears unclear, pixelated ; especially YouTube videos. Texts are too sharp and edgy.
Specs:
Core i5 2500k
Monitor: Asus vx229h 21.5 inch IPS
GPU: Sapphire r7 260x OC. 2 GB

what resolution are you running at & what screen refresh rate is the monitor set at as in 50, 60, 75 or 144hz?

1920x1080 . 60Hz.

vga, dvi or what?

VGA .... I've tried using HDMI but it won't appear full screen if I do so. It appears even more torn and jaggy with the HDMI. So, I am forcefully using VGA.
