[SOLVED] Impact of Hyper-threading?

Solution
Generally speaking, each hyperthread is ~1/2 the performance of a core. It will cost you some multi core performance to disable, but should also decrease temps on the die, and may help with voltage overhead and such for an OC to the true cores.

You should be able to disable hyperthreading at the BIOS level, according to your mobo directions (check).
