Impedance for subwoofer crossover.

i am making a DIY home theatre 7.1 with all speakers of impedance 4 ohms or 6 ohms, can i use a subwoofer with 4 ohms impedance as i could not find a crossover with less than 4ohms impedance ?

The suitability of 4ohm impedance will depend on the amp you are connecting it to.
