Imperfections/Indentations on a new Intel i5

Hi to everyone

I just bought a new intel i5 8600 tray.

However I noticed 2 indentations on the sides of the IHS, and another one on the IHS itself.

My question is if it's normal?

The side indentations look like those left by the retention mechanism. Is that because the seller tested the CPU or because it was a return ... I don't know.
