Please be aware that this is a public forum. Any posting of personal IP addresses can leave your network vulnerable to attacks from hackers, identity thieves, phishing scammers, and the worst that the internet has to offer. This is very clearly outlined in the board's terms of service agreement:

any material that is threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, vulgar, obscene, profane, indecent, or otherwise objectionable; including posting other peoples' private information.

No moderators, nor any end user on this board will ask you for sensitive information such as IP addresess or network passwords, and all posts that post this kind of information will have it immediately edited out as it does constitute private information and is defined as such in the board's terms of service agreement. We at Tom's or its' parent company Best Of Media, LLC do not encourage this behavior and do not want to be held liable for any network attacks that come as the result of end users posting personal information such as IP addresses. If you wish to discuss this information with other end users off the public record, you may use the private message function for that. Otherwise all posts containing personal IP addresses will find them immediately edited out and further attempts to post IP addresses or passwords may result in a 3 day ban or longer depending on the situation. Think of it like posting your personal phone number then wondering why you're getting so many calls from telemarketers.
