important question about the graphics card

to overclock the graphic card should i have a motherboard that support overclocking or it has nth to do with overclocking the graphic card .. mine is h61m-s2p ( 3rd gen ). thank you !

When OCing a GPU, it's all about the card, not the mobo. It's up to you whether you want to go with a current card or wait on a new launch. The 970 is pretty reasonably priced and has solid performance benchmarks. You can assume that the 300 series will also. You'll have to wait to know for sure what the differences in performance and price will be.

i have the i7 3770 ( non k )
8 gb of kingstone ram
gtx 650 ti boost but going to buy gpu so am waiting and am going to run on 1080p
so is it good ?
