[SOLVED] Importing digital 893 cam to iphoto

why cant iimport my digital cam 893 to my iphoto ? my cam is plugged into cable,nowhere can i find it saying " import photo's"

When the drivers for the camera are installed iPhoto should launch automatically and offer to import your pictures... to do it manually launch iPhoto >>> File >>> Import to library.
