Importing to Outlook

I'm upgrading several XP computers to W7. I've chosen Microsoft Outlook as my mail client for W7. So far I can't find way to import information such as address book and message folders into Outlook either by way of my LAN or manually transporting them on a portable drive. Any suggestions?

Sorry, I should have mentioned I'm importing from Outlook Express to Outlook 2013.

The folders in Outlook express are in .dbx format (that will help you find and move them)

Search in XP for >>> *.dbx

Once moved I would THINK ..(don't run 2013 so not sure) ...that maybe 2013 will import them...maybe lol

One of the problems I'm having is locating the storage folders for Outlook 2013. Outlook Express allows changing folder locations so it is easy to find them. Outlook 2013 doesn't. There is an import/export dialog box but neither Outlook Express nor e-mail messages from any program are mentioned. I'm beginning to think the programs are incompatible. It's just like Microsoft to abandon their most loyal customers.
