Hey, guys so this is my first time building a PC and there's an issue with installing the GPU in my case. I have an NZXT H510 mid-tower with an EVGA GTX 1070 alongside a Gigabyte Aorus m b450 motherboard. the card and motherboard work fine since after hour of frustration I wanted to test if there was an issue with the expansion card slot of the GPU catching or vice versa and performed a bench test or whatever and everything worked fine. The issue is that when I try to lower the Card into the case alongside the motherboard the metal prongs seem to catch on the left side and I've made sure the standoffs were secure and the motherboard was level. Also, the clamps on the side are unscrewed so there isn't conflict with that it just seems like there isn't enough space. This is unusual since everyone I've spoken to about it and even the specs seem to indicate it should fit just fine. Whenever I try to lower it into the motherboard though it tilts at a right angle and the right side of the card sets into the slot while the left doesn't sit properly and it makes a weird noise. I'll include some pictures of the case and stuff so if anyone has any ideas I'm all ears! This is my first time building a PC so I'm hoping it's just something dumb ve overlooked

Does your case have "bumps" for standoffs/mounting points? Or, did you have to actually screw mounting points into the case?

From what I can see about your case, it should have come with mounting points installed. Did you put anything in those before installing the motherboard. Assuming the GPU is inserted fully into the PCIe slot, it appears your motherboard is sitting too high.

The case came with standoffs preinstalled. The GPU doesn’t fully insert into the slot when it’s in the case since the left gets hung up as if the metal prongs have hit the back of the case while the right continues to lower so it’s at an angle. I’ve tried everything from different angles to removing heat sinks. No body really knows what the issue is on reddit either im starting to think the slots made to keep the motherboard in place on the sides of the case have an issue

I understand better now. Pull the GPU out and examine the angle of the mounting bracket. Yours could be bent slightly, causing the alignment issue when you try to install. You should be able to bend slightly to alleviate this issue.
That’s was a good idea I don’t have the room in the case to bend since it feels like there’s no wiggle room whatsoever. Maybe I’m going about it wrong? Here’s a video https://streamable.com/n2wbko
