Impressed with Corsair H50 Any One else using one?

Hi Just got my new rig built last night. I decied on the corsair H50 to cool my i7 920. I added a sythe 1900rpm fan as an intake and used the stock as an exuast. The sythe actully ran at 2200rpm but now have a controller on it.

At 181bclk x 21 and 1.25 volts it handles 3.8ghz nicely peaking at 74c with an hours prime95 x64

Any one else had goos luck with it I know I moded mine a bit but even without it seems to do well compaired with stuff I saw on youtube.

As I've maintained on this forum numerous times, I always start worrying when a CPU goes above 70C. What's your idle temp?

Agreed. Not a good everyday temp, but thats under load. As long as your happy with it. Please when you post don't say it's a watercooling system. It's a teeny kit that has no comparison to real watercooling. 74c is kinda high..............

Temps are pretty high, but for that kit, probably what can be expected. You are trying to cool the i7 920 with a single 120 rad.
