Hey all,

I am a composer that works with four monitors, two Samsung 1440p's, one 4K Samsung TV and a Dell 24" touch screen monitor, all plugged in to the GTX 1050 card I have on my system.
I have worked with this setup for years and ages however I have now encountered a very weird issue in which on boot one monitor will boot up black, meaning it shows up in the display properties and the mouse crosses over to that screen meaning windows is using it but I see no picture .
Now the funny part is when I turnoff the PC and boot it up again without that screen connected and only when windows loads up I plug in the display cable it works as intended ... I am totally baffled as I have not installed/updated anything on my system and in general this computer is left alone as much as possible.

Any Ideas on what can be causing this? I should also mention that I have updated video car drivers.
Thanks!

First check to see if your motherboard is pending any BIOS updates, then check to see if your OS is pending any updates.

Later, use DDU to remove all GPU drivers from your platform, then manually install the latest GPU drivers sourced from Nvidia's support site, in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

I updated BIOS, Windows and Display Drivers using the utility you mentioned.
